User profiles are created using Apple's iPhone Configuration Tool, available as a free download from Apple, and can automatically configure VPN, Passcodes, Wifi, Restrictions, Subscribed Calendars, Credentials, SCEP, Web Clips, Exchange, Mail, CalDAV, LDAP, and CardDAV settings.

TARMAC allows IT staff to automatically deploy User profiles to an unlimited number of iOS devices. Users authenticate against your existing Directory Server ( Open Directory, Active Directory, MySQL and OpenLDAP ) and are presented with profile options based on their user's access privileges. The profile is then downloaded over-the-air ( OTA ) to their iOS device.
